This tiny, shiny piece of magma,
Jumped from my volcano brunch.
It had to be important news.
To pause my mid-bite munch.
“Tell me something, little ember.”
“Explain your cunning ways.”
He whispered, “Listen close, my son.”
“Let it echo for all of your days.”
He marched to the end of the plate,
And my attention he did acquire.
But that clumsy lava tripped, fell,
And set the whole house on fire.
